Meri Nagapetyan is an associate attorney at Ahmad & Associates. Meri received her Juris Doctorate from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio. Meri assists in the smooth management of the firm’s day to day activities while handling various immigration cases. She is well-versed in the firm’s family-based, employment-based, and removal defense immigration practice.
During her tenure with Ahmad & Associates, Meri has handled all aspects of immigration law, including bond hearings, masters hearings, and merits hearings for clients facing removal proceedings. She also supervises and handles the preparation of hundreds of relative petitions, fiancé visas, student visas, visitor visas, work permits, green card applications, and citizenship applications. Meri’s work encompasses and focuses on more complex immigration matters in removal defense, family-based petitions, and employment-based cases.
Meri’s cases include employment visas (labor certification, PERM, and I-140s), H-1Bs, L visas, and O visas. She prepares asylum applications, cancellation of removal applications, and waivers (I-601, I-601A, I-212, etc). She is very skilled in legal research and writing as she has prepared numerous briefs before the Immigration Courts and in appellate matters before the federal courts.
