Attorney Attaul Qudus Malik has over 10 years of legal experience in the fields of corporate law, civil litigation, and human rights law. His civil law experience includes all aspects of litigation as well as pre-litigation preparation. He has also researched and briefed numerous legal matters.
In the area of human rights law, he has coordinated efforts to address persecution of minority groups in various countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, and the West Bank. He has also appeared as a liaison to the US Department of State, United Nations Human Rights Council, United Nations High Commission for Refugees and various human rights NGOs such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Human Rights First.
Attorney Malik has significant experience in all aspects of Immigration Law and Immigration Court proceedings. He has handled numerous business visas, ranging from L-visas, H1B, and EB5 categories. He regularly attends Masters and Merits hearings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review in Arlington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia.
Prior to his international law practice, he served as an associate for Ropes and Gray, representing Fortune 100 clients in all stages of IP litigation from pre-suit investigations to final disposition of jury and bench trials in one of the most prestigious U.S. law firms. He also assisted in multiple negotiations with opposing counsel regarding joint agreements, protective orders and case settlement.
Mr.Malik is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, and has a working knowledge of Swahili.
